Conformation:
Franklin is a more than sufficiently developed stallion with sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is attractive. The poll has sufficient length but a slightly heavy head-neck connection. The neck has good length, shape, and muscling. The wither is well developed and has good length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has sufficient length and good muscling. The loins have good muscling and are well connected. The croup is slightly sloped, with good length and muscling. There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is slightly toed-out. The hind leg is correct. The legs are well developed and of good quality. The hooves have good shape but slightly low heels.
Lineage:
Franklin is a son of the stallion selection champion Ampère (s.Rousseau), who is becoming an increasingly important sire. Several European studbooks have approved various sons from his first crop of foals. Franklin's dam is Warkle M, a ster PROK mare by Ferro. Her dam Sparkle M is a studbook mare by Flemmingh out of the elite sport(dres) mare Irma Peternella, a Pion daughter and a qualified Z-level dressage horse. Irma Peternella is also the dam of two Z-level dressage horses: one by Cavalier, the other by Flemmingh. The dam-line continues with Zilla Peternella, a ster mare by Rechter out of the ster preferent mare Palona Peternella (s.Lt. Generaal), followed by Hilla Peternella, a ster mare by Domino (s.Zenith).
Performance Test Report:
Franklin is an honest, reliable, and sensitive stallion with a very good temperament. He is very willing to work and has very good trainability. The walk is pure and has sufficient scope but needs to show more body use. The trot is expressive with good scope and a hind leg which steps very powerfully under the body. When viewed from the front, the stallion paddles with his front legs, especially in the trot. The canter is uphill and very powerful with very abundant carriage and scope. Franklin moves with very abundant elasticity and self-carriage as well as excellent balance. Franklin has very abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a very good feeling.
Stable Behavior:
Franklin is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

The walk has sufficient scope and elasticity. The trot is light-footed and has abundant shoulder freedom, good to very good scope, and good use of the hind leg. The canter has good scope, push, and elasticity with excellent balance. The foals have a remarkable ability to collect.
