Performance test report

Conformation:
Elvaro is a well-developed stallion with good rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is sufficiently attractive. The poll has good length with a slightly heavy head-neck connection. The neck has good length, shape, and muscling. The wither is more than sufficiently developed and has more than sufficient length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back is slightly dropped but has good length and more than sufficient muscling. The loin is well connected with good muscling. The croup has more than sufficient placement and length with good muscling. There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is correct. The hind leg is correct. The pasterns have sufficient length but are slightly straight. The legs are more than sufficiently developed and of good quality. The hooves are of good shape and quality.

Lineage:
Elvaro, age 5, was entered in the performance test voluntarily. This Calvaro son is out of the ster sport(jump) mare April Love, a Heartbreaker daughter. Elvaro's granddam Utanja is a ster prestatie mare by Manhattan. Her other offspring include 1.35m jumpers by Cardento and Heartbreaker. Elvaro's great-granddam Montanja is an elite preferent mare by Epilot and a former Z1-level dressage horse. Montanja also produced a 1.35m jumper by Clinton. The dam-line continues with Etanja, a ster preferent prestatie mare (s.Le Mexico), who is also the dam of the KWPN stallion Londontimes. Next in the dam-line is Tanja, a prestatie mare by the English Thoroughbred Cadmus xx, followed by the Drost mare Hurinka.

Performance Test Report:
Elvaro is an honest and reliable stallion with a very good temperament. He is extremely willing to work, has very good trainability, and a good mouth. The walk has sufficient to more than sufficient scope. The trot has sufficient scope but needs more elasticity. The canter has good push and balance, with more than sufficient scope. The stallion moves with good to very good carriage and balance. Elvaro jumps with good to very good reflexes and good body elevation. The stallion also jumps with good form but should show more elasticity. Elvaro appears careful and demonstrates abundant to very abundant scope. He shows abundant to very abundant talent as a jumper and gives his rider a very good feeling.

Stable Behavior:
Elvaro is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

Dam Viewing Report: April Love M STB ster, sport-(jump)
April Love M is a more than sufficiently developed mare with more than sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation and a slightly downhill body direction. She is a quality mare with more than sufficient presence.
The head is more than sufficiently attractive.
The head-neck connection is more than sufficiently light.
The neck has more than sufficient length and muscling, with slightly horizontal placement. The neck comes out slightly deep from the chest.
The wither is well developed and has good length.
The shoulder has more than sufficient length but is slightly straight.
The back and loin have normal shape and good muscling.
The croup has good placement and more than sufficient length.
The front leg is correct when viewed from the side, but the left front leg toes in when viewed from the front.
The hind leg is correct.
The pasterns have more than sufficient length but are slightly straight.
The hooves have good shape with well-developed heels.
The legs are slightly fine-boned but of good quality.
The walk is pure and active but somewhat limited in scope.
The trot is active and has sufficient scope, elasticity, and push.
The canter is well balanced with more than sufficient scope and push.

Offspring report

Elvaro showed a uniform collection of well-developed, attractive foals with good rectangular-shaped conformation and a downhill body direction. Several foals have a slightly dropped back. Among the foals scored at their home location, the croup is often sloped and needs more length. Among the foals selected by the registered party, the croup has good placement and length. The front leg is correct. The hind leg is sometimes slightly sickle-hocked. The legs are solid but sometimes a bit fine-boned. The walk has more than sufficient to good scope. The trot has good scope and abundant elasticity with a slightly pushing hind leg. The foals pick up the canter easily and show good push with more than sufficient to good balance.
