Performance test report

Conformation:

Edinburgh is a sufficiently developed stallion with sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is sufficiently attractive. The poll has more than sufficient length with a slightly heavy head-neck connection. The neck has sufficient length and good muscling but comes out slightly deep from the chest. The wither is well developed and has good length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has sufficient length and good muscling. The loins are long and well connected with good muscling. The croup is sloped, with good length and muscling. The front leg is correct. The hind leg is slightly sickle-hocked. The legs are more than sufficiently developed and of more than sufficient quality. The hooves have good shape but under-run heels. The stallion carries his tail to the right.

Lineage:

Edinburgh's sire is Vleut, who achieved international success in Grand Prix show jumping under the name Guccio with Edwina Tops-Alexander.

Edinburgh boasts very interesting bloodlines and comes out of a dam-line which has produced numerous sporthorses. His dam Olympic Queen, a keur sport(jump) mare by the jumper sire Darco, competed in the 1.35m and produced a 1.40m horse. Edinburgh's granddam First Lady (s.Wisconsin) earned the keur, preferent, and prestatie predicates. Her offspring include the Grand Prix jumper Nirvana (s.Concorde), a 1.40m horse by Lux, two 1.35m horses by Concorde, and 1.30m horses by Voltaire, Fedor, and Lux. First Lady is also the granddam of the Grand Prix horses Tyson (s.Numero Uno) and the KWPN-approved stallion Tadmus (s.Calvados). Edinburgh's great-granddam Wieteke also earned the keur, preferent, and prestatie predicates. She is a daughter of the English Thoroughbred Cadmus xx. Wieteke's offspring include an international show jumper by Damiro, a 1.35m horse by Wisconsin, and a 1.30m horse by Quattro. In addition, Wieteke is the granddam of the Grand Prix jumper Patries (s.Wolfgang). The dam-line continues with the preferent mare Lady, an Amor daughter.

Performance Test Report:

Edinburgh is an honest and reliable stallion with a good temperament. He is very willing to work and has more than sufficient trainability. The walk is pure and has more than sufficient scope. The trot is sufficient. The canter is carried and has good scope. Edinburgh moves with more than sufficient body position and good balance. He jumps with more than sufficient reflexes, but the apex of his jump is often behind the obstacle.  The stallion has good jumping form. Edinburgh appears careful and shows more than sufficient to abundant scope. He demonstrates more than sufficient to abundant talent as a jumper and gives his rider a good feeling.

Stable Behavior:

Edinburgh is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall. 

Veterinary Report:

During the test, swelling was observed in the stallion's left hind fetlock. The condition subsequently resolved.

Olympic Queen keur sport-jump

Olympic Queen is a well-developed mare with good jumper conformation but a downhill body direction.

The head is sufficiently attractive with a nice large eye.

The head-neck connection is slightly heavy.

The neck has good shape and muscling. The neck has sufficient length but comes out deep from the chest.

The wither is more than sufficiently developed and long.

The shoulder has good length and placement.

The back has good length and is well connected.

The loins are broad with strong muscling.

The croup has good length and placement.

The front leg is slightly camped-under.

The front leg is slightly toed-in when viewed from the front.

The hind leg is sickle-hocked.

The pastern angle is good.

The hooves are well developed with low heels.

The legs are tight and of good quality.

The walk is active and pure.

The trot is active and has more than sufficient scope.
