ConformationEl Primero is a more than sufficiently developed stallion with good jumper conformation. The head is sufficiently attractive. The poll is sufficiently long with a slightly heavy head-neck connection. The neck has good length, shape, and muscling. The wither is more than sufficiently developed and has sufficient length. The shoulder has sufficient length and good placement. The back has good length but is slightly dropped. The loins are well-muscled and well-connected. The croup has good placement, length, and muscling. The front legs are correct. The hind legs are correct. The legs are well-developed and of more than sufficient quality. The hooves are well-developed.
Lineage
El Primero's sire, Numero Uno preferent (s.Libero H), has produced many successful Grand Prix offspring and is considered a proven jumper sire. El Primero's dam Zo-Special is a Studbook-ext mare by the keur stallion Indorado. El Primero's granddam, the elite mare Titia (s.Carthago), excelled in the mare tests. She produced a Z-level jumper by Argentinus. El Primero's great-granddam Erica, who is better known by the name Vink Especiale, is a preferent prestatie sport (jump) mare by Voltaire. Erica competed successfully in Grand Prix show jumping under Eric van de Vleuten. In addition, she is the dam of a ZZ-jumper by Andiamo and Z-jumpers by Lector and Nabab de Rêve. The dam-line continues with the ster mare Biosca (s.Ulft) and the keur mare Tosca (s.Naturel).

El Primero is an honest and reliable stallion with a good attitude. He is very willing to work, has good to very good trainability, and a good mouth. The walk has more than sufficient stride length. The trot has good stride length but should be more powerful. The canter is powerful, light-footed, and has good stride length. The stallion moves with good carriage and balance. El Primero jumps with more than sufficient to good reflexes and good form. He completes his jumps very well with his hind end and uses his body very well. The stallion appears more than sufficiently careful and shows abundant to very abundant scope. He demonstrates very abundant talent as a jumper and gives his rider a good feeling.
