ConformationEtoile is a well-developed stallion with good dressage horse conformation. The head is attractive. The poll has good length. The neck has good length and shape with more than sufficient muscling. The shoulder has more than sufficient length and placement. The wither is more than sufficiently developed with good length. The back has good length and muscling. The loins are more than sufficiently connected with more than sufficient muscling. The croup is sufficiently sloped and has more than sufficient length. The line from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock should be longer. The front legs have good length and are correct. The hind legs are correct. The legs are well-developed and of more than sufficient quality. The hooves are small, with a slightly higher heel on the left front hoof.
Lineage
Etoile is by the KWPN-recognized stallion Don Schufro (Donnerhall x Pik Bube I) out of Meli Melo, a Rubinstein I (s.Rosenkavalier) daughter who earned the elite, preferent, prestatie, and sport (dres) predicates. Bred to Don Romantic, Meli Melo produced a selected stallion as well as Z-level dressage horses by Neostan, Jetset-D, Diamond Hit, and Don Romantic. Etoile's granddam Hillechien, an elite preferent prestatie sport (dres) mare by Purioso, showed at Z2-level dressage and produced a Z2-level dressage horse by Neostan and a Z-level jumper by Burggraaf. Etoile's great-granddam Arsis, a Nimmerdor daughter, boasts the keur, preferent, and prestatie predicates. The dam-line continues with Rosamunde, a keur preferent daughter of the English Thoroughbred Acer xx; and Alabama, a ster mare by the Trakehner Abglanz.
Performance Test Report
Etoile is an honest and reliable stallion with a good attitude. He is very willing to work and has good trainability. The walk is pure and active with good to very good stride length. The trot is light-footed, with good stride length and flat front leg use. The canter is light-footed, carried, and has more than sufficient to good stride length. Etoile moves with more than sufficient elasticity as well as good carriage and balance. The stallion has more than sufficient to abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a good to very good feeling.
Stable Behavior
Etoile is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

The loins should have more muscling. The croup is sufficiently formed but should be longer. The front legs, when viewed from the side, are slightly camped-under and could be longer. The front leg stance is slightly toed-in. The hind legs are slightly wide angled (straight). The hooves are slightly small with sufficiently developed heels. The legs are clean and good. The walk is active with good stride length. The mare has a good way of moving in the trot, with good hind leg use and abundant carriage.
