Performance test report

Conformation
Well-developed stallion with good jumping horse conformation. The head is attractive. The poll has good length. The neck has sufficient length and good muscle, set deep in the chest. The shoulder has sufficient length and placement. The withers are well developed and with good length. The back has good length and muscling. The loins are well connected and well-muscled. The croup has good length, placement and muscling. The front leg has good length. The hind leg is long and slightly cow-hocked. The legs are well developed and of sufficient quality. The hooves are narrow, but with well-developed heels.

Lineage

Don Diablo is a son of Vittorio (Calippo x Martell xx). Vittorio himself was successful at 1.50m-level under Pieter Keunen. Don Diablo comes from the Niki- line. Dam Zolaniki was exported to Finland as a show jumper. This daughter of Calvados has the keur- predicate. Granddam Pippi-Niki is a studbook mare out of the preferent Indoctro. Great- granddam Zaniki (s.Joost) is a full sister to KWPN-stallion Palfrenier and is ster, prestatie, preferent. Zaniki is the mother of KWPN-stallion Ekstein (s.Zion) and international show jumpers Joniki (s.Derrick) and Lajos (s.Faust), as well as three Advanced (Z and ZZ) show jumpers by Legaat, Faust and Lancelot respectively. The dam-line continues with the mare Aniki, a ster, preferent mare out of Kassander and the line’s mother, the model, preferent, prestatie mare Niki (s.Sinaeda).

Inspection Report
Don Diablo is an honest and reliable stallion with a more than sufficient character. The stallion is more than sufficiently willing to work and sufficiently trainable, but still had problems in the connection. The walk has more than sufficient scope. The trot has sufficient scope. The canter is light-footed and has good scope, but is not yet confirmed enough. The stallion has more than sufficient carriage and sufficient balance. Don Diablo jumps with good reflexes and good technique, and shows a lot of elasticity. Don Diablo seems cautious and shows a lot of power. Don Diablo shows abundant talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feeling.
 
Stable Behavior

Don Diablo is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

Breeding Recommendation
Don Diablo can improve jumping horse breeding with technique and elasticity, and should preferably be used with mares that show a lot of front.

Zolaniki is a more than sufficiently developed mare with good jumping horse conformation and length in the body. The head is sufficiently attractive. The poll is more than sufficient in length. The neck is more than sufficient in length but a little weak in muscling. The withers are more than sufficiently developed. The shoulder has more than sufficient length and is a little steep.

The back is good in length and muscling. The loins are more than sufficiently connected and muscled. The croup is a little sloping, but sufficient in length and muscle. The front and hind legs are correct. The pasterns are good. The hooves are more than sufficiently developed, but the heels are a little low. The legs are slightly delicate but of good quality. The walk has more than sufficient scope. The trot is powerful and has more than sufficient scope. The canter is powerful and more than sufficient in scope and balance.
