ConformationDen Ham Blue R is a well-developed stallion with good jumper conformation and a downhill body direction. The head is more than sufficiently attractive. The poll is sufficiently long. The neck has more than sufficient length, shape, and muscling. The wither is well-developed and has good length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back is sufficiently muscled with more than sufficient length but is slightly dropped. The loins are well-muscled and well-connected. The croup is lightly sloped with more than sufficient length and muscling. The front legs are correct. The hind legs are correct. The legs are well-developed and of sufficient quality. The hooves are well-developed with slightly low heels.
Lineage
Den Ham Blue R's sire, the keur stallion Mr. Blue, is a renowned producer of jumpers. Den Ham Blue R's dam T.Amelusina II (s.Calando I) carries the PROK predicate. Her dam P.Amelusiena, a Coriander (s.Coriolan) daughter, likewise boasts the PROK predicate. She produced the Grand Prix horse Udor (s.Germus R) and a Z-level jumper. Den Ham Blue R's great-granddam Eamelusiena (s.Joost) earned the prestatie predicate. She foaled several good offspring, among them the KWPN preferent stallion Namelus R (s.Concorde), ZZ-level jumpers by Contender and Concorde, as well as Z-level dressage horses by Prince Paradiso R and Voltaire. The dam-line continues with the prestatie mare Melusiena (s.Abgar xx), the keur mare Melusiena (s.Wagner), and the model preferent mare Kusiena D, an offspring of the Camper son Verdi.

Den Ham Blue R is an honest and reliable stallion with a good to very good attitude. The stallion is very willing to work and has good trainability. He also has a good mouth. The walk has more than sufficient stride length. The trot has sufficient to more than sufficient stride length. The canter is powerful and has more than sufficient to good stride length but should have more elasticity. The stallion moves somewhat on the forehand but shows good balance. Den Ham Blue R jumps with good to very good reflexes and form. The stallion completes his jumps very well with his hind end. Den Ham Blue R appears careful and demonstrates very abundant scope. Den Ham Blue R shows abundant to very abundant talent as a jumper and gives his rider a very good feeling.
