Performance test report

Conformation 
Ditisem is a well-developed and long-lined stallion with very good harness horse type. The head is well shaped and attractive. The poll has sufficient length. The neck has good placement and length but comes somewhat deep out of the chest. The shoulder has good length and placement. The wither is well developed. The topline is slightly weak but well muscled. The loins are well connected. The croup is slightly flat but has normal length. The front leg is correct and has normal length. The hind legs are correct. The hooves have good shape and are well developed.

Lineage
Ditisem, who was the champion of the 2008 National Foal Inspection and the champion of the stallion selection as a three year old, is the last offspring of the highly valued but prematurely deceased stallion Roy M (s.Larix). Ditisem's dam Roswitha keur sport is a daughter of the preferent foundation stallion Manno, who competed successfully for years in the Category 4 North shows. In 2005, Roswitha won the champion title in the ladies division with Fera Muggen. The mare has earned 203 points in harness. Her most famous offspring is Zo Mooi (s.Roy M), a full brother to Ditisem. Zo Mooi, who boasts numerous victories, was the reserve champion of the Netherlands at ages four and five. He has earned 89 points. Ditisem's great-granddam Viola ster preferent (s.Positief) produced the selected stallion Interessant (s.Renovo), who shows regionally in the open class.

Inspection Report 
Ditisem is an honest and reliable stallion. He has very abundant desire to move, which hindered his performance at the beginning of the inspection. Over time, the stallion became more trainable, which resulted in a calmer performance and more scope in his movement. Ditisem arrived at the test venue with a relatively short hoof with an 8mm shoe, which did not benefit the scope in the front leg. During the inspection, he grew more hoof, which was of good quality. The stallion shows abundant body use and elasticity in the trot. The hind leg is strong, and the front leg has scope and good action. Over the course of the inspection, the stallion started showing more uphill movement, which facilitated good neck carriage. The walk is powerful and big. Ditisem shows abundant talent as a harness horse and gives his driver a very good feeling.

Stable Behavior
Ditisem is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

Breeding Recommendation
Ditisem is expected to pass on a strong hind leg, desire to move, and willingness. He should be paired with mares which have good length in the front leg.

The mare has a slight under-neck, and the neck comes out slightly deep from the chest. The wither is well developed. The shoulder has good length but should be slightly more sloped. The back has good shape and muscling. The loins have good muscling and are very well connected. The croup has good length and placement. The front leg is camped-under and should have more length. The hind leg is correct. The pastern angle and length are good. The hooves have good shape and are sufficiently broad. The legs are clean and tight. The walk is powerful and has sufficient scope. The mare is beautiful in the trot. The front leg has sufficient scope and action, and the hind leg is strong.

Performance test scores

Offspring report

Ditisem showed a uniform and more than sufficient collection of foals with respect to harness type and development. The foals have more than sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation. The front leg has sufficient scope but should show more action. The hind leg shows good bend, develops sufficient power but should generally step under the body more actively. The foals carry their necks well in the trot but need to elevate their bodies more. 

Ditisem is expected to pass on a strong hind leg as well as a keen and willing attitude. He should be matched to mares with long front legs.
