Performance test report

Conformation
Royally developed stallion with good dressage horse conformation and a lot of expression. The head is attractive. The poll has sufficient length. The neck has good length and muscling and is set slightly deep in the chest. The shoulder has good length and sufficient placement. The withers are well developed and with good length. The back has sufficient length and muscling and is slightly sloped. The loins are sufficiently connected and muscled. The croup is a little sloped and has sufficient length and muscle. The front leg has good length and conformation. The hind leg is a little long. The legs are well developed and of sufficient quality. The hooves are well developed.

Lineage

Davino V.O.D. is a son of Hotline, and through his father Hofrat a grandson of the preferent stallion Gribaldi. His dam Kilucienne is a keur, preferent, sport dressage mare out of Michelangelo. She also produced the KWPN- stallion UB 40 (s.Olivi) and Light Tour horse Reveller (s.Juventus). Granddam Tiluciene is a keur, preferent, prestatie mare by Farn. Great-granddam Nilucienne is a keur, preferent, prestatie daughter of the Thoroughbred Erdball xx. She produced four offspring that performed in Avanced (Z) dressage or higher, by Nepal, Marinier, G.Ramiro Z and Aktion; as well as an Advanced (Z) show jumper out of Damiro. The dam-line continues with daughters of Zodiac and Graaf van Wittenstein.

Inspection Report
Davino V.O.D. is an honest and reliable stallion with a very good character. The stallion is very willing to work and very trainable. The walk is sound with very good scope. The trot has good scope, but has to grow in power. The canter is uphill and has good scope. Davino V.O.D. moves with a lot of elasticity and good carriage and balance. Davinci shows abundant talent for dressage gives his rider a very good feeling.

Stable Behavior
Davino V.O.D. is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

A bilateral conjunctivitis has cleared up completely.

Breeding Recommendation
Davino V.O.D. can improve dressage horse breeding trough blood diversification, and can improve size, model and character in dressage horses.

Dam Report
Kilucienne is a well-developed mare with sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation and expression. The head is sufficiently attractive. The throatlatch is sufficiently light. The neck could be a little longer, but is sufficiently muscled. The withers are well developed and are sufficiently long. The shoulder has sufficient length and placement. The back and loins are well formed. The croup has sufficient length, is sloped and muscled. The front leg is correct from the side. The hind leg is correct. The pasterns are normal. The hooves are well formed, the heels could be a little more developed. The legs are of good quality but a little delicate. The walk is sound with sufficient scope and flexion of the hind leg. The trot has good scope and impulsion, with more than sufficient elasticity and carriage. The canter has sufficient scope, but the mare could show a little more carriage and elasticity.

Performance test scores

Offspring report

Davino V.O.D. showed a uniform collection of more than sufficiently long-lined foals with more than sufficient to good development. The foals should be built more uphill. The walk is clear with sufficient scope but needs more power. The trot is light-footed with more than sufficient scope but needs to show more power and better carriage. The canter has more than sufficient scope and balance. Two foals, which were selected by their registered parties, were a positive exception to this evaluation.

Breeding Recommendation

Davino V.O.D. can benefit dressage horse breeding with respect to blood distribution. In addition, the stallion can improve size and willingness. He is best paired with mares with uphill conformation and a powerful hind leg.
