ConformationCidane is a well-developed stallion with good jumper conformation. The head is attractive. The poll is short. The neck has good length but a slight under-neck. The shoulder has more than sufficient length but is slightly straight. The wither is more than sufficiently developed with sufficient length. The back has good length and muscling. The loins have good muscling and are well connected. The croup is sloped and has sufficient length with good muscling. The front leg is correct, with straight pasterns. The hind leg is correct. The legs are more than sufficiently developed and of sufficient quality. The hooves are sufficiently developed.
Lineage
Cidane is by the influential preferent stallion Heartbreaker. Larnike, Cidane's dam, is a keur prestatie mare by G.Ramiro Z. She is also dam to the grand prix horse Audi’s Reflection (s.Monaco) and Warnike (s.Heartbreaker), a 1.40m jumper in the Netherlands who was subsequently sold to the USA. Cidane's granddam Garnike (s.Jasper) boasts the keur, preferent, and prestatie predicates. She produced a Z-level jumper by Heartbreaker, the international jumper Ornike by Indoctro, and a Z2-level dressage horse by G.Ramiro Z. Next in the dam-line is the Voltaire daughter Cernike, who holds the ster and preferent predicates. She produced the international jumper Oberniek (s.Amaretto) and a Z-level dressage horse by Indoctro. The dam-line continues with Zernike, a Pele (s.Abgar xx) daughter; and the ster mare Kloriade (s.Frappant).
Performance Test Report
Cidane is an honest and reliable stallion with a very good temperament. He is very willing to work and has good trainability. The walk has more than sufficient scope. The trot has just sufficient scope with moderate elasticity. The canter is powerful and has good scope but needs more elasticity. The stallion moves with more than sufficient carriage and good balance. Cidane jumps with very good reflexes and good front leg form. He opens his hindquarters well but tilts at times. The stallion uses his body more than sufficiently over jumps. Cidane appears careful and demonstrates abundant to very abundant scope. Cidane shows abundant to very abundant talent as a jumper and gives his rider a very good feeling.
Stable Behavior
Cidane is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

The croup has sufficient length and placement, with high placement of the tail. The front leg is correct. The hind leg is correct. The pasterns are straight and short. The hooves are well shaped and well developed. The legs are clean and of very good quality. The mare was lame due to laminitis and therefore not evaluated for movement.
