Performance test report

Conformation
Amazing Star is a well-developed stallion with good rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is sufficiently attractive. The poll is short. The neck has good length and muscling. The wither is well developed. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has good length but is slightly dropped. The loins are strongly muscled and well connected. The croup has good length, placement, and muscling, with a high tail set. The line from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock should be longer. The front leg has good length and is correct. The hind leg is long and straight. The legs are well developed and of sufficient quality. The hooves are sufficiently developed but the heels are low.  

Lineage
Amazing Star has several preferent stallions on both sides of his pedigree. His sire Flemmingh and his grandsire Ferro earned the prestigious predicate and have produced numerous approved sons and grandsons. Ferro was a successful international dressage competitor under Coby van Baalen; the combination's achievements include placing fifth individually in the Sydney Olympics. Amazing Star’s granddam is the keur preferent sport(dres) mare Mimosavrouwe (s.Donnerhall), whose offspring include Z-level dressage horses by Krack C and Ferro. Amazing Star's great-granddam Weidevrouwe (s.Roemer), who earned the keur, preferent, and prestatie predicates, is the dam of Z-level dressage horses by Ulft, Rex Magna xx, Jazz, and Krack C. Her son Romorantin (s.Krack C) is classified at the ZZ-advanced level.  

Inspection Report 
Amazing Star is an honest and reliable stallion with a more than sufficient temperament. He is more than sufficiently willing to work and has more than sufficient to good trainability. The walk is pure and has more than sufficient scope. The trot has more than sufficient scope. The hind leg should step under the body with more resolution and power in the trot. The canter is uphill with very good scope and carriage. The stallion moves with very good body position, good balance, and abundant elasticity. Amazing Star has abundant to very abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a more than sufficient to good feeling.  

Stable Behavior
Amazing Star is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

Dam Report
Thalia Vrouwe is a more than sufficiently developed, attractive mare with sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation but slightly short legs. The head is well shaped and very attractive. The poll has good length. The neck has sufficient length with good shape and muscling. The wither is well developed but could be slightly longer. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has moderate to sufficient length but is dropped. The loins have good muscling and are well connected. The croup is short, sloped, and well muscled; the point of the hip to the point of the buttock is long. The front legs have moderate length; they are positioned under the mass and somewhat back at the knee. The pasterns have sufficient length but are slightly weak. The hind leg is slightly straight. The legs are well developed and of good quality. The hooves are well developed and have good shape. The walk is pure and active with sufficient scope. The trot has more than sufficient scope, with an active hind leg which bends and steps under the body. The canter is uphill, powerful, and has good scope. Thalia Vrouwe moves with good body position and balance.

Performance test scores

Offspring report

A uniform collection of more than sufficient to well-developed foals which demonstrate more than sufficient dressage horse conformation. The trot has more than sufficient stride length. The canter has sufficient stride length but is sometimes a bit flat. The foals should move more uphill, and their hind legs should step under their bodies more resolutely. 

Breeding Recommendation
The breeding recommendation is based on the performance test and the offspring inspection. Amazing Star is best paired with mares that have a good topline and sufficient “blood.”
