Performance test report

Conformation
Arlando is a well-developed stallion with good rectangular-shaped conformation and a slightly downhill body direction. The head is attractive. The neck has more than sufficient length. The wither is well developed. The shoulder is long and straight. The back has good length but is dropped. The loins are well connected. The croup is sloped, with good length and muscling. The front leg has sufficient length and is correct. The hind leg is long and correct. The legs are well developed and of good quality. The hooves are well shaped. 

Lineage
Arlando's sire is the Ferro son Paddox, who excelled in the show ring under Diederik van Silfhout. The duo's wins include the 2006 European Championships for Juniors, and they subsequently competed in the small tour. Arlando's dam is the sterpreferent Thoroughbred-cross mare Herlanda. Her other offspring include Orlanda (s.Ferro), who is classified at the ZZ-advanced level with Marijke Folmer; and the selected stallion Valencio, another Paddox son. Zolanda (keur preferent by Nurprimus) is Arlando's granddam. She is the dam of the international jumper Anadolu Ermis (s.Formateur). 

Inspection Report
Arlando is an honest and reliable stallion with a very good temperament. He is very willing to work and has good trainability. The walk is pure and has good scope. The trot has more than sufficient scope and carriage. The canter has good scope and power, with abundant push. Arlando moves with sufficient body position, good balance, and abundant elasticity. He has abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a more than sufficient feeling. 

Stable Behavior
Arlando is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

Dam Report
Herlanda is a more than sufficiently developed riding-type mare, with abundant "blood" horse presence and more than sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is small, well shaped and attractive, with a remarkable eye. The poll has good shape and length. The neck has good length and shape, with sufficient muscling. The neck should be tied in more smoothly. The wither has more than sufficient height but should be longer. The shoulder has more than sufficient length but is straight. The back is weak. The loins are sufficiently shaped and connected but could be broader. The croup is very sloped and should be longer. There is more than sufficient length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is correct, when viewed from the side. The front legs toe in. The hind leg is straight. The pastern angle is good. The legs are light and of very good quality. The hooves are small and of good quality. The walk is pure, active, and has sufficient scope. The trot is light-footed and has good scope with more than sufficient elasticity. The hind leg bends well and has sufficient push. The mare moves forward and needs better carriage. The canter is on the forehand and has sufficient push, but needs more scope.

Performance test scores

Offspring report

A collection of uniform, well-developed, long-legged foals with more than sufficient to good dressage horse conformation and presence. The trot has good stride length and suppleness, with a hind leg that bends more than sufficiently but should carry more. Front leg use is flat. The canter has sufficient stride length but should demonstrate more suppleness. The foals move with more than sufficient carriage. 

Breeding Recommendation
The breeding recommendation is based on the performance test and the offspring inspection. Arlando can add “blood” and presence to uphill-built mares.
