Conformation description 2005 (14-03 t/m 24-05)Well developed, sufficiently Gelders type stallion whose lines should be a little longer. The stallion has an appealing front. The hindleg is long. The foreleg has straight pasterns. The base is sufficiently developed and has sufficient quality.

Rubus-B is a son of Ahoy (s Monarch).
The keur mare Alpenroos (s Pygmalion) is the dam of the stallion Rubus-B. She produced 10 offspring (5 colts and 5 fillies). Grandmother Orchidee comes from Jonkheer (s Oregon) and further back in the dam line we see the classic blood of Norton (s Helmar). Orchidee is the great grandmother of the M1-dressage horse Kyle (s Zep), of Kleflorata (s Renovo, 19 points singles competition) and of Nicole (s Iberio, 35 points singles competition).
Performance
Rubus-B is an honest and very trustworthy stallion with a good attitude. The stallion is very willing to work and he works more than sufficiently.
The walk is pure, has sufficient scope and sufficient power but he should have more suppleness. The trot has sufficient scope and more than sufficient tact and balance. The canter has more than sufficient scope, has good impulsion and good balance.
As a Gelders type Rubus-B has more than sufficient to much talent for dressage and gives his rider a more than sufficient feeling.
Rubus-B jumps with more than sufficient impulsion and technique of the foreleg. The stallion bascules sufficiently. The hindquarter opens sufficiently. Rubus-B seems careful and shows sufficient scope. Rubus-B has sufficient talent for jumping and gives his rider a more than sufficient feeling.
Rubus-B shows sufficient willingness for harness work. He has a balanced and trustworthy character with sufficient enthusiasm. The walk is short and lacks suppleness. The trot has sufficient scope and more than sufficient self-carriage. The hindleg comes under the body more than sufficiently. He has sufficient scope at the canter and more than sufficient impulsion. Rubus-B has more than sufficient self-carriage and is sufficiently maneuverable. The overall picture of a harness horse is sufficient to more than sufficiently.
In his stall the stallion appears to be honest and trustworthy. He is nice to work with and is easy to handle.

Rubus-B is multi use type horse. The stallion appears to fit mares that have a complicated character or are difficult to work. Mares do have to have length in the body and suppleness in movement.
