Idocus is a more than sufficiently developed, sufficient riding type stallion in more than sufficient rectangular model. He has a well-formed poll-neck formation. The base is well developed with a correct stance. The foreleg should be a little longer.

Champion 100-Day Test: dressage 121.94, jumping 142.99, total 131.12.

1994
IBOP AA 99 points: 1st approval NA/WPN.

2001: selected at the KWPN Den Bosch stallion show. The KWPN bred Idocus was previously approved by the NA/WPN. Over the years Idocus was one of the most successful stallions at the North American keuringen. The stallion was brought out at Grand Prix level (first by Courtney King, and after he came back to Holland by Marlies van Baalen) and shows much impulsion and extra good use of the foreleg. Idocus displays an excellent character and much talent for the more difficult exercises. In his pedigree the stallion combines the dressage sires Zonneglans and Eclatant and represents a strong mare line that produced multiple dressage horses. Dam Eretha is keur and a full sister to the Grand Prix horse Atag Flip.

Idocus is an honest, reliable stallion. He is very willing to work and he works well.
The walk is pure and has more than sufficient scope. The trot has more than sufficient scope. He has more than sufficient suppleness, very good neck position and very good use of the foreleg. The hindleg should bend more. Idocus has good balance in the canter, has good scope and good self-carriage. The hindleg should bend more. The stallion is good at changes and collects well. Idocus has much talent for the more difficult dressage movements. He has much talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stall and handling behavior are normal.

Idocus showed a uniform collection of appealing, riding type offspring that are in more than sufficient rectangular model.
The head is well shaped and very expressive. The poll is well shaped and has good length. The neck is shaped well and has more than sufficient length and muscling. The wither is more than sufficient to well developed and sufficiently long. The shoulder generally has good length and positioning. The connection from the back to the loins is good. The croup has sufficient length and good placement. The hamstring is sufficiently long. The stance of the foreleg is correct but should often be a little longer. The stance of the hindleg is correct. The legs should sometimes be a little more strongly developed.
The walk has sufficient scope and suppleness and in a few cases should be a little more pure. The trot is generally sufficient in scope, supple and the Idocus foals carry themselves well. The good use of the body is very noticeable. Once in a while the foreleg should move out more. The use of the hindleg is generally good. The development of the offspring in the age of foal to four-year old varies a little but is generally sufficient.
Idocus serviced all sorts of mares: American Thoroughbreds, KWPN mares and old-fashioned Hannoverian mares. The uniformity, especially of the forehand and the manner of movement, is very remarkable. Idocus clearly puts his stamp on his offspring.
