HK Utrecht 1975
4th of 36 riding horses at the Utrecht stallion show.
Heavy Groninger mare line, which is interesting in this day because of the stallions Polaris and Courville xx. The type is good as are the movements. The mid section could be stronger and the croup longer. The size is good.

Performance Sleen 1975
He made good progress and got more scope in movement. He has a lot of talent for jumping and cross-country, sufficient talent for dressage. He is willing to work. He was tense in the beginning and therefore difficult to ride. During the first week of the test he was restless in his stall. Later his stall behavior was normal. His behavior was normal during exercise, though he did show some resistance to the saddle at first. His behavior in harness was normal.

Well built, typey stallion with good size for a Courville xx (168.0 cm). He could be more refined in the legs.

Offspring report

Offspring 1978 (complete collection)
He showed a group of foals with good type and sufficient refinement, hardness and development. The foals were out of good mares. The shoulder placement is correct and therefore they have a good walk and a correct, scopey trot in which the hindleg comes underneath the body sufficiently.
The yearlings are uniform, some have a slightly poorly muscled neck. The loins could also have better muscling. Some yearlings are a little heavy on the legs but they are not over at the knee. Some of the hindlegs are slightly long and crooked. The walk is big and correct, the trot is likewise.
Three 2-year olds out of six were shown. Two were well developed. In general they were a little plain but did they have sufficient riding type and sufficient development in the shoulder. The walk was good, the trot had scope and was square.
All foals are have somewhat poor muscling around the croup.

Approval term (September 1987)
The stallion Notaris will be approved for a term of three years.
This term is based on the stallion index. He is one of the few stallions that has produced offspring that are above average in both jumping and dressage. Though he clearly passes on more jumping traits, he also scores relatively high in the production of dressage horses.

Notaris receives the keur predicate because of his very high jumping index (145) and his good dressage index (111).
