Performance test report
Conformation description 2004 (06-09 t/m 12-11)Uptown is a richly developed, long lined, very riding type stallion with a beautiful front. The hindquarter could be more muscled up. The stance of the base is correct. The feet have moderately developed heels.
Pedigree information
Uptown was the dressage champion of the stallion show in Den Bosch. His sire Kennedy made his debut in the light tour and is the first approved son of Ferro. Uptown"s dam Carina has earned all possible predicates and was a multiple in-hand mare champion mare of Holland. She competed at Z2-dressage herself and received a great IBOP score. Her offspring earned her the prestatie predicate. This mare line produced many national and international sport horses.
Performance
Uptown is an honest, trustworthy stallion with a good attitude. The stallion has much willingness to work and he works well.
The walk is pure and has good scope and suppleness. The trot is light and has much suppleness. The stallion has much self-carriage. The hindleg goes sufficiently underneath but should have more power. Uptown has much balance in the canter, he is light and supple. Uptown is good at changes at the canter. Uptown has much to very much talent for dressage and gives his rider a very good feeling.
Uptown shows moderate power at the take-off. The stallion should bascule more and he opens insufficiently behind. He seems sufficiently careful and shows moderate scope. He has moderate talent for jumping and gives his rider a moderate feeling.
Stall behavior: Honest, trustworthy stallion that is nice to work with and easy to handle.
Veterinary remarks: Uptown started in the spring test but was referred to the fall test due to an injury. In September the stallion was somewhat affected by a viral infection. He did not lose any training time.
