Conformation description 2003 (13-03 t/m 21-05)
Tolando is a modern, long-lined, long-legged stallion. The neck is long and has good position. The back and loins are a little hollow. The hindleg is a little bowed.

Pedigree information
We see Tolando"s dam Narina and her full sister in the top 50 of index toppers. Her own performance at ZZ-light level and her interesting pedigree with dressage sires Rubinstein I and Sultan give her a high index and makes her very interesting as a stallion"s dam. The pedigree also produced the well-known Ideaal (s Doruto) and the approved stallion Landeur. Sire Krack C crowned his debut year at Grand Prix with a fantastic 11th place at the world equestrian games. It also appears that he is going to make breakthrough in the breeding of dressage horses.
Narina has produced 1 offspring (1 colt), the 2nd viewing stallion).
Barina, Z2-dressage horse, produced the Z2-dressage horse Garina (s Ulft), the ZZL-dressage hrose Igor (s Daimler), the Z1-dressage horse Marina (s Rubinstein), the Z-Karina (s Grandeur) and the KWPN approved stallion and also Z-jumper Landeur (s Grandeur).
Olgarina produced the Z1-dressage horse Dondersteen (s Lector).

Performance
Tolando is a quickly diverted, sufficiently reliable stallion. The stallion has sufficient willingness to work and he works sufficiently.
The walk is big, pure and has good impulsion. The trot has sufficient scope and the stallion shows good self-carriage. The hindleg is used well but should be more powerful. The foreleg stays a little flat. The trot has suppleness but the back should be used more. The canter is big with good leg technique and more than sufficient impulsion. Tolando has more than sufficient to much talent for dressage and he gives his rider a more than sufficient to good feeling.
The stallion jumps with sufficient take-off. He shows a moderate bascule and sufficient leg technique. He holds himself behind. He is sufficiently careful and shows moderate scope. He has insufficient talent for jumping and gives his rider a moderate feeling.
The stallion"s behavior in his stall and while being handled is normal.

Offspring report

Offspring 2004 (foals)
Tolando showed more than sufficiently developed, long-legged foals that stand in good rectangular model. The foals are very riding type.
Tolando"s foals have an expressive head. The head is nice and wide between the eyes. The poll has good length. The neck is long and well shaped. Sometimes the neck is a little too vertical. The wither is well developed with more than sufficient length. The shoulder has sufficient position and length. Sometimes the back is a little hollow. The loins are well muscled and well connected. The croup is shaped well with sufficient length. The hamstring should sometimes be longer. The stance of the foreleg is correct. The stance of the hindleg is sometimes sickle-hocked. Sometimes the hindleg has a straight pastern. The base is sufficiently developed with good quality.
The walk is pure with more than sufficient scope with more than sufficient suppleness. The foals move with uphill with much self-carriage and good use of both the hindleg and the foreleg. They have much impulsion, suppleness, tact and they can do changes. The canter is easy for Tolando"s foals and has good scope. The foals also have good changes at the canter.

In short: The collection consists of a uniform group of riding type, long-legged foals with refinement and charm. The base lacks a bit of development but has good quality. The foals have good leg technique during movement with good use of the body and good changes.

Shown were 14 picked foals and three that were selected by the owner. One of the picked foals died prior to the keuring. One foal that was inspected at home fit in the above picture. The foals selected by the owner also fit in the above picture.
The quality of the mares was good on average.
