Exterior:
Rebellion R.A.G. VDL is a sufficiently developed, appealing, youthful stallion who is well-proportioned and stands in a rectangular frame. The head is expressive. The stallion has a well-formed front end. The shoulder is of good length and position. The withers are sufficiently developed and flow adequately into the back. The back is sufficiently long and slightly weak. The loin is well-muscled and well-connected. The croup is sufficiently long and positioned, with good musculature. The front leg is correctly positioned both from the front and side view. The hind leg is correctly positioned. The hooves are sufficiently developed. The quality of the legwork is firm and appropriately sized.

Pedigree:
Rebellion R.A.G. VDL is a son of the preferred Harley VDL, who competed at a high level with Jessica Kurten. The dam, Charistia Z, is a daughter of the Holsteiner stallion Crawford (s.Corrado) and has already produced the KWPN stallion Kaiden GPH (s.Chaman), which has jumped at the 1.40m level in sport. Rebellion’s full brother, Igor GPH, competes at the highest level with Canadian rider Kara Chad. Looking further back in the damline, we see Calato daughter Calata LVP, which leads to great-granddam Ferline. This Romino daughter produced several high-level performers, including the well-known Con Dios III (s.Colman), which jumped at the 1.60m level with rider Rene Lopez Lizarazo (COL). Other descendants include the 1.60m jumper Fenix (s.Courage) and the 1.40m jumpers Landfreund CR (s.Landjunge), Rabenhofs Faust (s.Atlas Bavaria), Ornat CR (s.Orlando), and Darco van Overis Z (s.Darco). The line also traces back to Holsteiner stallions Cor de la Bruyère and the thoroughbred Waldenser xx.

Evaluation report:
Rebellion R.A.G. VDL is a very rideable and uncomplicated stallion with a good attitude. He is eager to work. The walk is sufficiently spacious. The trot is light-footed and sufficiently spacious. The canter is light-footed, good in space, and has a strong push-off. The stallion moves with good posture and balance. He jumps with a lot of push-off and a good upward body movement. His jumping technique is good, with excellent use of his body and plenty of athletic ability. As a jumper, Rebellion R.A.G. VDL has a lot of potential and gives the rider a very good feel.

Stable behavior:
An honest, reliable stallion, easy to handle, and calm in the stable. Rebellion R.A.G. VDL does crib-bite.

Dam report:
Charistia Z is a very well-developed mare with a good rectangular frame. The head is expressive. The neck is sufficiently long with a light head-neck connection. The neck is well-shaped, sufficiently long, and has adequate musculature. The withers are very well-developed and of good length. The shoulder is of good length and slightly steep in position. The back is long, well-shaped, and well-muscled. The loin is well-muscled and very well-connected. The croup is slightly sloped, slightly short, and well-muscled. The hindquarters are very well-shaped. The front leg is correctly positioned from the front but slightly hollow when viewed from the side. The hind leg is correctly positioned. The hooves are well-developed and of good quality with slightly underdeveloped heels. The foundation is well-developed and of sufficient quality. There is an old wound on the left hind leg. The walk is sufficiently spacious with adequate suppleness. The trot is spacious with a very good posture and well-undertracking hind leg. The front leg is well-set. The canter is powerful with sufficient space, well-balanced, and with a good posture. Both trot and canter show much balance.

Charistia Z received the following results in the IBOP in 2016: Walk 6.5, Trot 6.5, Posture and Balance 6.5, Canter 7.5, Reflexes 7.5, Technique 8, Power 8, Attitude 8, Rideability and Trainability 7, Jumping Talent 7.5, Total: 76.5 points.
