Manchester Red Wine is a well-developed stallion, which is correct in the rectangular model but has a slightly downward shape of the body. The stallion has an appealing head. The neck is more than sufficient in length with a correct head-neck connection. The neck is horizontal-positioned, good in length, and more than sufficiently-muscled. The shoulder is of good length and well-positioned. The whither is sufficiently-developed and more than sufficient in length. The back is good in length hand slightly weak. The loins are well-muscled and well-connected. The croup is well-positioned, good in length, and sufficiently-muscled. The pant muscle is sufficient in length. The foreleg is correct. The hindleg is correct. The pasterns are good in length and slightly upright. The foundation is well-developed and of good quality. The hooves are more than sufficiently-developed, well-shaped, and of good quality. The heels are correct.

Pedigree:

Manchester Red Wine’s sire is the popular Aganix du Seigneur, who is the son of the Grand Prix stallion Ogano Sitte. Aganix du Seigneur was successful with Jos Lansink up to 1.55m level, until an injury ended his sports career. The mare Delight W is a daughter of the Capitol I son, Clearway, who is among others the sire of the Grand Prix horses Clarimo (Rolf-Göran Bengtsson) and Glock’s Cognac Champblanc (Gerco Schröder) and even jumped Grand Prix. Delight brought a 1.30m horse by Berlin and we know her dam Rockella-S elite sport-spr as a Grand Prix jumping horse from Manuel Fernandez Saro (Bra). She also brought a 1.30m horse by Harley VDL. Continued by the Carolus I daughter, May-Flower keur preferent prestatie, who had high scores at the EPTM for the jumping parts and is the dam of the Grand Prix jumping horse Vrieda O. (s.Hold Up Premier) of Samuel de Pauw (Bel). She also brought 1.40m and 1.30m horses by Goodtimes and Harley VDL and is the (great) granddam of several international 1.35m and 1.40m jumping horses.

Research report:

Manchester Red Wine is an honest, laconic, and sympathetic stallion with a more than sufficient attitude. The stallion shows a lot of willingness to work and is easy to train. The walk is more than sufficient in length and supple. The trot is more than sufficient in length. The stallion has more than sufficient self-carriage and balances while moving. The canter is light-footed, has a good length, changes easily, and is slightly on the forehand. Manchester Red Wine has an upward way of jumping with good reflexes. The stallion jumps with a good foreleg technique and with more than sufficient back-use. Manchester Red Wine seems to be careful and shows a lot of athletic ability. As a jumping horse, he shows a lot of talent and gives his rider a good feeling.
