Lineage:
Nottingham VDL is the seventh KWPN-approved son of the preferent Grand Prix-stallion Arezzo VDL. Arezzo VDL has lived up to the expectations both in sport and breeding by producing multiple international showjumpers and competing at the highest level himself with Jessica Kürten. 
The dam of Nottingham VDL is the keur IBOP (spr) mare Ersina. This daughter of the preferent showjumper producer Indoctro descends from the renowned Sina lineage and has jumped a very good IBOP in which she stood out with an 8.5 for technique, attitude and talent as a jumper horse. She distinguished herself even more with her good rideability, for which she received a 9. Ersina’s oldest son, Zirocco Blue VDL-offspring Innocence, is currently active at international 1.35m level. Granddam Kersina is a preferent prestatie keur mare that descends from the preferent stallion Emillion. Kersina produced, in addition to the dam of Nottingham VDL, Alpha VDL (s.Corland) that jumped Grand Prix and the international showjumper Rocksina (s.Corland). Furthermore, Kersina brought the offspring H (s.Indoctro), Secretly (s.Ahorn) and Viktor (s.Corland) that all performed at 1.45m height in sport. Greatgranddam Obligeant stands at the basis of multiple Grand Prix-horses, including her son Piccolino (s.Notaris) of Rene Tebbel. Further along the lineage, we find the preferent stallions Farn, Marco Polo and Sinaeda in the pedigree of Nottingham VDL. 

Performance test report:
Nottingham VDL is an honest and well-rideable stallion with a good mindset. The stallion has ample willingness to work and has a good trainability. The walk is more than sufficient in scope and elasticity. The trot is more than sufficient in scope and more than sufficiently powerful. In movement, the stallion shows more than sufficient posture and balance. The canter is active with sufficient scope and bend in the hind leg, and has a good balance whereby the stallion changes lead easily. Nottingham VDL jumps well with his body upwards and shows more than sufficient to good reflexes and more than sufficient body-use. Nottingham VDL jumps with a good technique. Nottingham VDL appears to be careful and displays abundant scope and overview. As a jumper horse, Nottingham VDL has more than sufficient to abundant talent, and he gives his rider a good feeling. 

Stable behaviour:
Honest, reliable stallion, easy to handle and calm in the stable.

Breeding & pairing recommendation:
Nottingham VDL can add height, size and a good attitude to jumper breeding.
