Lineage:The sire of Matiz is the in 2019 deceased harness stallion Eebert and comes out of a Gelder-registered ster and prok National Mare Championships-mare Honey. This mare was admitted to the studbook with high marks. She is a daughter of Vitens. Granddam Wanda (s.Sirius) bears the keur and sport (dres) predicate and is Z1-classified. Greatgranddam Nonja is a ster preferent prestatie mare of the keur stallion Elegant. Nonja produced multiple well-performing offspring in dressage. Besides granddam Wanda, that competed at Z1-level, this includes a ZZ-Zwaar son of Vitens and two M-level offspring of Sirius and Gabor, of which the Sirius-descendent also competed in driving. The damline continues with mares by Cavalier (s.Maykel), Symfonie (s.Makelaar) and First Trial xx.
Performance Test Report:
Matiz is an honest, reliable stallion with a good attitude and eagerness to go. In his in-harness test, the stallion showed abundant willingness to work and is his trainability is more than sufficient to good. The walk is active, broadly sufficient to good in scope and has sufficient elasticity. The trot is active, has a good impression and is spacious. The canter is active, good in scope and push and has a good balance.
In harness, the stallion is more than sufficiently agile and has a good posture.
In the terrain, Matiz has abundant desire to go, is focused on the rider and well-behaved in new situations. The overall image as a horse in harness is good. Matiz gives his rider a good and reliable feeling.

Honest, reliable stallion, easy to handle and calm in the stable.
Breeding & pairing recommendation:
Matiz can add height and size and because of his mentality and reliability can also make a positive contribution in breeding Gelder horses for driving.
