Exterieur:

Markant BK is a very royal-developed stallion who is correctly standing within the rectangular model with sufficient Gelders model. The head is slightly long with a nice and big eye. The neck is sufficient in length with a light head-neck connection. The neck is well-shaped and more than sufficient in length and could be a bit more muscles in the topline. The shoulder is well-positioned and good in length. The whither is more than sufficiently developed and good in length. The back is good in length and more than sufficiently-muscled. The loins are well-connected and well-muscled.

The croup is well-positioned, slightly too short with sufficient muscle with a slightly high tail implant. The pant muscle could be longer. The foreleg is slightly toed in but furthermore correct. The hindleg is correct, long, and slightly behind the mass. The pasterns are correct. The foundation is well-developed and of good quality. The hooves are well-developed, well-shaped with correctly developed heels.

Afstamming:

Markant BK is a son of the Small Tour stallion Wilson (s.Koss), who is ridden by the Japanese Satsuki Watanabe within the Young Riders. Markant BK’s dam, Wiezelma ster preferent (s.Sirius), performed at M driving level. She brought several M dressage horses by Vitens and Danser. Her dam Ezelma keur preferent (s.Ubis), scored high grades for her IBOP and brought, among others, the international driving horse Oleander (s.Clavecimbel) and a Medium advanced horse by Goodtimes. Ezelma’s dam, Vuzelma keur preferent (s.Pretendent) is the granddam of the Grand Prix horse Luzelma (s.Cabochon), who was performing together with Christa Larmoyeur. Besides that, she is the (great) granddam of the international jumping horse Ottoline Slottie (s.Peter Pan) and several Medium advanced dressage horses and 1.20m jumping horses. The Small Tour horses, Elect (s.Zaire) is from this same damline.

Research report:

Markant BK is an honest, loyal, and easy to train stallion with a lot of willingness to work and a good attitude. The stallion is uncomplicated, has a lot of willingness to work and is easy to train. The walk is when relaxed, sufficient in length and supple. The trot is functional, has a good take-off, and is more than sufficient in length in which the hindleg could be more carrying. The stallion is very big and it is expected this will developed even further when getting older. The canter is active, powerful, especially considering his age and height, very well-carried, good in length in which the stallion easily changes. While moving, the stallion could move a bit more out of the whither. Markant BK is an honest jumper, in which he shows his willingness to work and a more than sufficient technique, in which he seems to be careful and talented as a jumping horse. In the field, the stallion is very nice to ride according to his riders, uncomplicated, focused on the rider, a nice willingness to work, and easy in strange situations. Markant BK gives his rider in both indoor and outdoor a safe and very good feeling.
