Conformation:Lanto HBC is a well-developed, very harness-typical and uphill built stallion with a good rectangular model. The head is appealing. The neck has good length. The neck has good shape, length and muscling. The withers are well developed and of good length. The shoulder has good length and a good placement. The back has good length and muscling. The loins are well muscled and more than sufficiently connected. The croup has a good position and has good length and muscling. The hamstring continues long. The foreleg is correctly adjusted when viewed from the side and the right front leg is slightly toed-out when viewed from the front. The hindleg is correctly positioned. The pasterns good length and are correctly positioned. The foundation is well developed and of very good quality. The hooves are well developed, good in shape and of good quality.
Descendant:
Lanto HBC is the first approved offspring of Delviro HBC. The Vulcano son, Delviro HBC, has won many competitions, including the newcomer class in Bennekom and the Oregon Trophy in 2016. Lanto HBC's mother is the star preferent Urby V (by Patijn). Jack V.D.B (by Manno), a half-brother of Lanto HBC, obtained a first premium as a foal at the local studbook inspection and was invited to the NVK in 2014. Urby's mother has several offspring, including Evert V (by Stjerreljocht Surprise) and Wieke V (by Manno), both of them have performed in the big limit. Another offspring is the star mare Zilka V, a full sister of Urby V, who has achieved an IBOP score of 80 points. Indiana (by Colonist) is in 2016 approved and derives from the same dam line.
Performance report:
Lanto HBC is an honest, reliable, very harness-typical stallion with a lot of natural talent. The stallion has much to very much willingness to work and is very good to ride. The walk is correct and has good space and flexibility. In front of the show carriage, the stallion moves with a very good body position and a lot of body use. Lanto HBC has an appealing front during movement where the neck is placed on top of the body very good. Lanto HBC has a lot of knee action and shoulder freedom. The hindleg is well bent but may be placed under the body with a bit more power. The trot has much to very much suspension moment. Lanto HBC has much to very much enthusiasm to walk. The stallion has a lot of talent as a harness horse and gives his rider a very good feeling.
