Descendant:
The KWPN-recognized Donnerhall son De Niro is a famous horse in dressage breeding. Since 2012, he was only second once in the list of best dressage horse breeders according to the WBFSH, the other years he was at the first position. De Niro is the father of King de Niro, who inherits proven genes. His mother is the elite mare Grandinosa, a daughter of Ampère (by Rousseau) who was a three-year-old Champion at the Stallion Show and was entered with top marks in the studbook. Four of Ampère's sons have been approved by the KWPN at this moment in time, and daughters like Fynona (88 points), Fiarola (85.5 points), Fortuna G (89.5 points) and Google (90 points) scored high during the IBOP. King de Niro's granddam Spinosa, a star preferent performance mare by Havidoff, produced the Heavy Tour horse Cynosa (by Tuschinski) and a Z horse by Dreamcatcher. Further back in this line, we find the Purioso mare Finosa, who produced a Z horse and a ZZ-L horse from Legaat, as well as a ZZ-L horse from Hugo.
Performance report:
King de Niro is an honest and reliable stallion with a very good attitude. The stallion has a lot of enthusiasm to walk and a lot of willingness to work and is easy to work with. The walk is active, regular and more than sufficient to good in space and flexibility. The trot has good space with an active hindleg that is very easy to work with. The canter is uphill, very powerful with much to very much bearing capacity and space. King de Niro moves with good leg technique and a lot of balance, with a positive ability to close. King de Niro has much to very much talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stable behaviour:
Honest and reliable stallion, easy in handling and calm in the stable.
Veterinary report:
No particularities have been established.
Sperm test:
Expected fertilizing ability class: good.
Breeding / matching advice:
King de Niro can add size to dressage horse breeding and improve the canter as well as add rideability, attitude and power in movement. Mares should not be built downhill.

Offspring report
King de Niro (De Niro x Ampère x Havidoff)King de Niro showed a collection of more than sufficient to well-developed foals that are long-lined. Some foals are a bit down in the body direction. The neck is well formed, well-muscled and usually more than sufficient in length. The shoulder is well positioned and the back and loins are more than sufficiently connected. In the foals selected by the owners, the hamstring should be longer. The front leg and hindleg are usually adjusted correctly, the pastern position is somewhat varied. The walk is regular and more than sufficient to good in space. The foals should walk with more body use. The trot has good regularity and space, more than sufficient power and (more than sufficient) flexibility. The hindleg should be more active in trot. The canter has more than sufficient suppleness and impulsion but should be a bit more uphill.
Number of registered offspring 2019: 3 fillies & 8 colts
Number of foals scored at home 2019: 10 foals
Number of foals present: 6 foals
