Conformation:
Kingsland VDL is a well-developed, riding type stallion that is in good rectangular shape with a slightly downward body direction. The head is appealing with a nice big eye. The neck has good length with a correct head-neck connection. The neck has good shape, good length and good muscling. The shoulder is good in length and a little straight in position. The withers are more than sufficiently developed and of good length. The back has good length and good muscling. The loins are well connected and a fraction tight. The croup has a slight slope, good length and good muscling. The hamstring has good length. The foreleg is correctly positioned. The hindleg is correctly positioned. The pasterns are good in length and correctly positioned. The foundation is something fine and of good quality. The hooves are well developed, slightly broad, of good quality with correctly developed heels.

Descendant:
Kingsland VDL is the fourth son of the licensed stallion Arezzo VDL who deserves his approval at the KWPN. Arezzo VDL, son of the Olympic stallion Chin Chin, won many prizes at the highest level in sports under the saddle of Jessica Kürten and Jur Vrieling. The dam of Kentucky VDL is the star preferent performance mare Notre Dame (by Silvio II), who produces among others the international jumping and Zangersheide-approved Bordeaux VDL (by Baloubet du Rouet) and his SF-approved full brother Taloubet VDL. She is also the mother of a 1.30m show jumper from Corland. A large number of horses from this line are internationally classified, such as the Grand Prix show jumper Arc de Triomphe (by For Pleasure) and the full brother of Kingsland VDL's granddam Byazinthe. This full brother is none other than the preferent KWPN stallion Ahorn (by Nimmerdor), who was active at the highest level with Roelof Bril. With Ladykiller xx we find a highly valued influential thoroughbred stallion in the dam line of Kingsland VDL.

Performance report:
Kingsland VDL is an honest, reliable and enthusiastic to walk stallion with a good to very good attitude. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and is more than sufficient easy to work with, but has a sensitive mouth and has therefore still trouble with the contact. The walk has more than enough space. The trot has more than sufficient space. The stallion has a good posture and a good balance in movement. The canter is light-footed, active with good space and a lot of balance. Kingsland VDL jumps well with an upward body direction, with good to very good reflexes, good body use and good foreleg technique where the jump is completed well in the hindlegs. The stallion has the quality to be able to forward very easily above the jump. Kingsland VDL seems careful and shows a lot of athletic ability. Kingsland VDL has a lot of talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feeling.

Stable behaviour:
Honest and reliable stallion, easy in handling and calm in the stable.
