Conformation description 2005 (04-04 t/m 24-05)
A very tuig type stallion with a very nice neck that has good position. The shoulder has length and the lines are good. The foreleg has much length and the bone of the legs is hard and lean.

Pedigree information
Vulcano was the 2005 reserve champion at the stallion show in Den Bosh.
Dam Izandra keur preferent (s Renovo) , 1992 reserve champion TP Day, is a half sister to the stallion Handro (s Waterman). This honors horse served the breeding program for several year. Grandmother Zandra (s Proloog) keur preferent prestatie was UTV champion as a 3- and 4-year old (1984 and 1985 respectively). Great grandmother Sandra keur preferent is the founding mare of the breeding program of Brothers den Otter, 1994 Breeders of the Year. The line has produced many keuring toppers and various competition horses such as Wandra keur preferent (s Proloog), Kasandra elite (s Renovo), Gander (s Proloog), Giandra keur (s Balmoral) and more recently the 2004 champion of the star mares Uwandra (s Fabricius). This line also produced the stallion Kentuckyboy (s Holland"s Golden Boy), who no longer serves the breeding program. The same mare line also produced the four-year old Ulandro (s Manno) who has also been accepted into the studbook.

Performance
Vulcano is an honest, trustworthy stallion that tensed quickly at the start of the test. The stallion has much to very much willingness to work and he drives well.
The walk is active but should have more scope. Vulcano has much self-carriage in front of the show cart. He uses the neck well but he should sometimes come back more in the front. Vulcano has good action in the foreleg and he moves it out well. The use of the hindleg is very good with much flexibility and impulsion. Vulcano brings the hindleg far under the body. The trot generally has more than sufficient to much suspension. Vulcano has much to very much enthusiasm. Vulcano has much to very much talent for harness work and he gives his rider a good feeling.
The stallion"s stall behavior in his stall and while being handled is normal.
