Offspring 2000 (foals)Hors la Loi II showed a uniform collection of well developed and well muscled foals. The foals are riding type and have appeal. The head varies from expressive to a little convex and coarse. The poll has sufficient length. The throatlatch should be a little finer. The neck has barely sufficient length; the shape and muscling is good. The wither is sufficiently developed and long. The shoulder is more than sufficient in length and position. The back is hollow but well muscled. The loins have good length, are wide and very well connected. The croup has good length, slopes and is strongly muscled. The hamstring should be a little longer. The stance of the foreleg is generally good. Sometimes the foreleg is a little tight. The heels are low. The hindleg is a little long. The circumference of the bone in the leg is good. There is sufficient quality. The walk has more than sufficient scope but sometimes lacks tact and regularity. The trot has scope and suppleness. The hindleg is used well. The foals easily jump into the canter. The canter has good scope and much balance. The hindleg is used well, the foreleg stays a little flat.
