Performance test report
ConformationA somewhat short-coupled model that could have even more substance. Refinement, quality and nobility are all present.
Behavior test Ermelo 1985
Intelligent, friendly, obedient with good humor, honest and attentive. He is very balanced in all that he does. He behaves very well during the light work. He stands excellently in-hand and keeps his attention completely on his work. He is very willing to work and enjoys it. He was in good condition upon arrival and remained that way. He ate normally.
Good stall behavior.
He was an international jumper (Opstalan"s Renville NHS) prior to approval. On the basis of his pedigree and his own accomplishments in sport the stallion was made available to the breeding program at a later age.

Offspring report
Offspring 1986 (foals)Renville showed a collection of sufficient to well developed foals that have a riding type build and show much refinement and expression. The foals have a well-formed head. The neck is also shaped well and also carried well. The wither is long but still has to grow more. The picked foals tended to have a somewhat straight shoulder, this was clearly better for the selected group. The generally longish mid section has good connections. The riding type croup is strongly muscled with a long hamstring. The stance of the foreleg is good but though it should be have more substance, it does show much quality. The hindleg is built well and has a well-developed hock that sometimes has a somewhat large angle. The walk is big and uses the hindquarter well. The foals carry easily, have scope and suppleness and use both the forelegs and the hindlegs remarkably well. Besides that the foals give the impression that they like to and easily canter.
In short: foals that show much refinement and expression, that are sufficiently developed and that are good movers.
Shown: 16 foals out of 77 breedings.
Offspring 1989 (3-yr olds): Renville will remain approved on the basis of his 3-year old offspring evaluation.
Offspring 1998 (11-yr olds): Renville is permanently (posthumously) approved on the basis of his 11-year old offspring evaluation.
Keur 2002
The exceptional service by sire Courville xx to jumper breeding is known. What is special about
Courville xx is that his sons Jasper, Notaris and Renville all had a positive influence in turn. Jasper and Notaris preceded Renville in getting the keur predicate. The committee means that Renville should receive it posthumously because he was able to pass on his exceptional quality, including his focus, both as a sire but also as a dam"s sire. If we look at his offspring that are jumping internationally we will see names such as Traxdata Renville, Hoek"s Ginus, Elanville, Halanta, Hotkey, Flash, Jagermeister, Stapp"s Aerobic, Experiment, Ferville, Billy and not to be forgotten, Jarville. Besides 170 studbook mares there are 63 ster mares, 15 keur mares, 4 preferent mares and 5 prestatie mares registered.
