After winning the semifinal yesterday, the Catoki son Pagani of the Paddocks earned the highest points again today. This KWPN-approved stallion outperformed his colleague Pinacolada van Seldsum.

The 25 four-year-olds were judged in the final by Roelof Bril and Marcel Beukers. They awarded impressive scores to the majority of the horses.

Top Talents on the Podium
With an 8.4 for jumping and an 8.8 for the performance between the fences, Pagani of the Paddocks (Catoki out of Clinton’s half-sister Lewinsky by Corofino I), bred by Anthony Mornie and ridden by Stal Hendrix rider Pietro Lazzaro, achieved the highest total score. As the winner of the semifinal, he was already a strong favorite. “Pagani is a sharp stallion who jumps very well with his withers up and uses his body excellently. He is very rideable and a pleasure to watch,” said judge Marcel Beukers. The KWPN-approved stallion Pinacolada van Seldsum (Dominator Z out of I-Nabalia SMH ster PROK D-OC by Namelus R, bred by Minne Hovenga) also made a strong impression under Joy Lammers. With two scores of 8.5, the powerful stallion placed a commendable second, just like yesterday. He stands out with his rideability, power, and consistent jumping technique. Earlier this season, the stallions were first (Pinacolada) and second (Pagani) in the Stal Hendrix competition. VDL Groep Prima Donna (F-One USA out of Alexia Z by Air Jordan Z), bred by Stoeterij Duyselshof and ridden by stable rider Natalia Majchrowicz, jumped to an 8.6 and an 8.2, the highest points for jumping. The total scores of the top three horses were separated by only one-tenth of a point. This light-footed mare jumps with her withers up and finishes the jump well from behind.
