Both domestically and internationally, the KWPN Auctions have become a renowned event. The first collection of the KWPN Online Foal Auction can now be found on the website, and the season kicks off with a strong selection. From July the 19th to 22nd, bids can be placed on 14 dressage and three jumping foals. The lineages of Grand Prix dressage horses such as Toots (s.Jazz), Helga (s.Chagall D&R), Cavalia (s.Sir Donnerhall I), Bond’s Painting (s.OO Seven) and Broere Karmijn (s.Damiro) are well represented.

Over the past few years, the auction platform KWPN Auctions has developed into an international showcase where breeders and buyers frequently come together. This season, seven editions of the KWPN Online Foal Auction are scheduled from July through October.

Grand Prix genes
For dressage enthusiasts, there is plenty to choose from in this collection. Several dams have performed at least at Z1/Z2 (3rd/4th)level. For example, the Extreme US son Unisono d’Endy US is interesting for both sport and stallion rearing. His dam Dendy (s.Jazz) has performed in the Small Tour, and his granddam, Endy, is known as the dam of the international Grand Prix horse Broere Karmijn (sDamiro), the Small Tour horse Zendy (s.Jazz), and NMK champion Andy (s.Jazz). Also noteworthy is the colt Ulberton (s.Barton VDL), whose granddam competed at ZZ-Zwaar (5th) level and produced the international Grand Prix horse Helga (s.Chagall D&R) of Matt Frost. The filly Umani is sired by World Championship participant Skyline to B, and her granddam Hippophae is a half-sister to the international Grand Prix horses Ellington (s.Jazz) and Bond’s Painting (s.OO Seven).

Jumping foals
The number of jumping foals in this collection is smaller, but their potential is undeniable. For example, the colt Umar S Pleasure Fan E Five (s.Neymar VDL) comes from the highly tested Grand Slam VDL daughter Lea’s Pleasure (EPTM 85). The filly Uriël du Sinaa (s.Zirocco Blue VDL) comes from the 1.35m jumping Modesto daughter Champion du Sinaa, who is a half-sister to the Grand Prix jumping horse Sietse (s.Monaco) ridden by Licinio Grossi. The Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve filly Unikaat descends from a 1.30m jumping half-sister of multiple 1.40m level horses. Unikaat shares the same granddam as 1.45m horses such as Esperanto (s.Zacharov), Famous (s.Aerobic), Inekaat (s.I’m Special de Muze) and Haydn (s.Zambesi).
