Ready, set, go! The final KWPN Online Foal Auction of 2022 has opened!
It’s Friday and the clock has struck 10 and that means the eighth and final KWPN Online Foal Auction of 2022 has opened! Until 20.00hrs this Monday night you have the opportunity to place your bid and secure yourself one or multiple foals out of this collection.
During the photo and video day, all foals have been inspected by a KWPN inspector, while a veterinarian was present to perform a clinical examination. The foals have therefore been selected on health and a correct conformation, a solid foundation for a successful future.
Four in a row
The successful WC-competitor My Blue Hors Santiano (s.Sezuan) lines up four offspring in a row. One of them is the colt Sunshine RE, he has the same granddam as the approved stallion Gin Tonic (s.Governor). Another offspring is Sir Sydney TF, that, just like Samba Girl JB, is bred from dam line packed with sport. The dam of Samba Girl JB already foaled several sport horses, including Harmonium (Jazz x Flemmingh), that placed 3rd in the Prix St. Georges and 5th in the Inter I last month. The last of this foursome is the colt Sarino van de Baanse, whose half-sister placed 15th at the WC for seven-year-old dressage horses in Ermelo in September. WC-genes in abundance!
Young sires and accomplished dams
Many young sires leave their mark on this last collection. The young stallions Racoon, Jameson RS2, Livius and Ladignac all sire one foal in this collection. The premium stallion Next Pitch U.S. and the Oldenburger vice-champion Florida TN also supply two offspring. While the stallions are still at the start of their career, many mares in the dam lines have already proven their worth. Sun Beam (s.Revolution), San Francisco (s.Koning), Special Dance Ventura (s.For Dance), Saturday Dine TF (s.Jameson RS2) and Sensation JS (s.Glamourdale) all boast an established maternal lineage filled with sport performance. Sir Sandro (s.Sir Donnerhall) is another foal bred out of a performance lineage. His granddam produced the Grand Prix horse Elinda M (s.Maestro). The granddam of Saffier (s.McLaren) foaled a PSG horse (Caspar s.Special D). The direct dam line of Simply Perfect (s.So Perfect) has brought forth five ZZ-Licht horses and a PSG/Inter-I horse. Surprise Prins (s.Winningmood) and Socrates JV (s.Las Vegas) are closely related to an approved stallion.
Plenty successful jumper genes
The eighth and final collection jumper foals of the KWPN Online Foal Auction distinguishes itself with exceptional successful dam lines. The direct dam line of Samoerai (s.Donthargos) has produced an extreme amount of sport, including two 1.40m, a 1.45m, two 1.50m, a 1.55m and a 1.60m jumper. Valuable jumper genes are also embedded in the maternal line of Strauss (s.Poker de Mariposa TN). The direct dam line yielded three 1.40m, a 1.50m and a 1.60m horse. More successful dam lines can be found in Sammy’s Pleasure Fan E Five (s.Avenger Z) and Schatz van de Schimmelstal (s.Connect). The dam of Schatz van de Schimmelstal already produced a 1.30m and a 1.35m horse. Further along the lineage we find three 1.50m jumpers and a 1.60m horse. Stien (s.Chaccothage Blue PS) and Silver Boy SHG (s.Colorit Z) are bred out of successful mares, the latter’s dam already foaled two 1.50m horses. We furthermore encounter five 1.35m, a 1.50m and a 1.60m horse in this direct dam line. The dam line of Sister Roestta O (s.Grand Slam VDL) features plenty of sport, including a 1.55m showjumper and a 1.40m horse. The granddam of South Dakota VS (s.La Costa ES) foaled a 1.35m, 1.40m and 1.45m horse. Those that are in search of versatility in the bloodlines, must surely check out the foals Silou Uno (s.Numero Uno) and Sunny Boy JDN (s.Pegase van ‘t Ruytershof)!
