KWPN Online Foal Auction finishes season strong
The collection of the eighth and final KWPN Online Foal Auction is composed of 15 jumper foals and 25 dressage foals. Bidding on this season’s finale is possible from October 14 through 17. You can invest in offspring of jumper sires such as Grand Slam VDL, Grandorado TN, WC-medalist La Costa ES and dressage stallions such as Las Vegas, Sir Donnerhall, My Blue Hors Santiano and world champions Glamourdale and Kjento.
Over the last few years, the KWPN Auctions platform has developed into an international showcase where breeders and buyers can get together. In the previous edition most of the foals remained in Dutch hands, while the international buyers dominated the earlier auctions.
Dressage talent
An impressive number of dressage foals is related to successful sport horses. The colt Storm (Kjento x Rousseau) shares his dam with the international Young Riders horse Gustaaf (s.Charmeur), that competed in the 2021 and 2022 EC with Maria Guerrero Galve. Out of the direct dam line of the Olympic dressage horse Pop Art (s.Amsterdam) of Ashley Holzer we find the colts Surprise Prins (Winningmood x Gotcha-Utopia) and Spetter Prins (Mister Maserati x Uphill), while the latter is bred out of the dam of the KWPN-approved stallion Noble Prince Norel (s.Painted Black). The colt Saint Tropez ESK (Next Pitch x Krack C) comes out of a half-sister of the KWPN-approved Small Tour stallion Five Star (s.Amazing Star) and the international Small Tour horse Hupadoeska PB (s.Dancer Forever). The filly Sydinda VT Altena (Spielberg x It’s A Pleasure) is bred out of a half-sister of the international Grand Prix horse Badinda Altena (s.Tolando) of Pierre Volla and Saffier van de Westen (Livius x Charmeur) is bred out of the half-sister of the KWPN-approved Small Tour stallion Dorado (s.Krack C).
Related to successful horses
The jumper foals also represent various established lineages. The colt Signed Sealed Delivered SSS (Grandorado TN x Zambesi) comes out of a half-sister of the Blom Cup winner and WC-finalist Keep it Cool SSS (s.Zirocco Blue VDL) of Michael Greeve. The El Torreo de Muze-son Silas was bred out of a mare that scored 83 in her ability test and moreover is a descendent of the prominent Kattebel-line. The dam of filly Sherry Lottie (Grandorado TN x Zirocco Blue VDL) scored 80 points for her ability test and is a half-sistre of the KWPN-approved stallions First Verdi (s.Verdi), that jumped at international 1.45m level), and Jumper Verdi (s.Verdi). The filly Seraloni (Chacoon Blue x Indoctro) represents the renowned Molga-line and filly Solange M (Komme Casall TN x Solitair) was bred out of a half-sister of the international 1.55m showjumper Chapeau B (s.Vingino) of Dominik Juffinger.
