With 89.4 points, Secret’s son Nashville SW, ridden by Femke de Laat, led this segment. This brings him very close in the interim standings to Nanny Mc Phee (by Vitalis), who is currently in the lead.

Powerful Mac Toto charges to Pavo Cup victory

​After a win in the semi-final and first round of the final, the Glock’s Toto Jr-son Mac Toto and Danielle Heijkoop had already proved to be the ones to beat in competition for six-year-old horses. Guest rider Daniel Bachmann Andersen awarded the powerful gelding a 9, and that meant Mac Toto sealed the deal in this year’s Pavo Cup.

Everst holds on to lead and wins Pavo Cup

All three-year-old mares first had to qualify via regional inspections and in the morning the best of this group was invited to the championship final. Seven mares vied for the coveted title in that final round. The jury stated: “we are witnessing the top of the bill here”.

Jumper Breeder of the Year 2023: Jan Greve
