Nashville SW Wins First Part of Pavo Cup Final, Nanny Mc Phee Holds the Lead

This morning, the Saturday of the KWPN Championships kicked off with the first part of the final of the Pavo Cup for six-year-old horses. With 89.4 points, Secret’s son Nashville SW, ridden by Femke de Laat, led this segment. This brings him very close in the interim standings to Nanny Mc Phee (by Vitalis), who is currently in the lead.

​After a win in the semi-final and first round of the final, the Glock’s Toto Jr-son Mac Toto and Danielle Heijkoop had already proved to be the ones to beat in competition for six-year-old horses. Proud Mary (s.Cizandro) clinches the win

After multiple sports classes, it was time for the three-year-old mares to flaunt their talents one last time. All three-year-old mares first had to qualify via regional inspections and in the morning the best of this group was invited to the championship final. Seven mares vied for the coveted title in that final round. The jury stated: “we are witnessing the top of the bill here”.
